Roland Spendlingwimmer, born in Austria, lives in Costa Rica since 30 years and was a leading role in founding the refuge cooperation Longo Mai. He is a founder member of Vida-Nueva and he is agriculturist by trade.

Alexandra Graf learnt acrobatics in the youth circus KAOS in Vienna, Austria. Since March 2005 she is working as a volunteer for the Circo FantazzTico, which she is currently responsible for. Since 2008 she is studying “social work” in San Isidro.
