Roland Spendlingwimmer, born in Austria, has lived in Costa Rica for 30 years and was a leading role in founding the refuge cooperation Longo Mai. He is a founding member of Vida-Nueva and he is an agriculturist by trade.

Carolina integrated in 2007 the Association Vida Nueva and since 2012 has been responsible for the project Circo FantazzTico, including the planification of shows, training, and the contact with the medias.

Alexandra Graf learned acrobatics in the youth circus KAOS in Vienna, Austria. Since March 2005 she has worked as a volunteer for the Circo FantazzTico, which she is currently responsible for. Since 2008 she has studied social work in San Isidro.
